The American Red Cross of
Northwest New Jersey is sponsoring a
Rock 'n Red Battle of the Bands on May 18, 2007 at
William G. Mennen Sports Arena. You and your club can get
involved to make our first annual event a success in two fun and
easy ways. In mid-March, we need your assistance in selling ad
space in the event program brochure. In April, we need your
assistance in selling tickets to the event.

Volunteer
Activity: Read All About It |
|
Purpose:
March is Red Cross Month.
During February you had an opportunity to plan an event for
March to teach others about the services provided by the Red
Cross through coordinating a Red Cross bulletin board in a
public place for your community. It's not to late to get on
board! There are service project ideas to choose from to
coordinate with your bulletin board.

They come in all ages, genders,
ethnicities and from all walks of life. They are students and
teachers, parents and children, board members and young
professionals. Who are they? They are American Red Cross
volunteers and measles advocates, who are responsible for
raising awareness and support for the Measles Initiative. This
month, they are the honored and appreciated individuals who have
made the success of the Measles Initiative possible.
